Went abroad, decided to continue practicing their instrument, bought one, suddenly there's no time or interest anymore to continue practicing, maybe pick it up again in 3 months then put it down again; so she's giving it to me.
All I have to do now is to go to her place and pick it up, then go to some music store and fix it (because it's also broken and she didn't bother to fix it, that's why she doesn't play it anymore I guess). Not trying to say she's bad at taking care at her stuff. No, she's recently graduated biochem in honours and is now studying for her masters. According to her instagram, whatever free time she has she goes back to her boyfriend's place outside the city (her bf is a local), so there's that.
People that play the violin has some level of class y'kno!

Origin is finally having a sale which means I can finally purchase Dragon Age Origins and 2 DLC for a cheaper price. DA:O is now 10 years old, so why is it still so expensive! I kind of regretted not getting the Borderlands Handsome Jack pack for like $7 now. The DLC bundles for both of the Dragon Ages is like $20!!
Dragon Age 4... you better get ready for the return of my fantasy Black Dynamite!
But yeah, just been reading my book. It's a really good book! I'm probably gonna buy a copy of it once I'm done (right now, the book is borrowed from the library).
One of my favourite part of the book is when the character's father tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of a moving train because he lost his job and is jobless for months and basically lost all hope in life, and she wrote it as "my dad applied for a job as a railway inspector". That was so morbid but still I couldn't help but just snicker.

| God bless aprons, I would have went mad if I wasn't wearing any. |
Mmmh... I don't know... I'm just around I guess? Probably should go back geocaching now that the weather is slowly getting better.
Oh yeah, I bought a Kobo Touch from the thrift store for $10 the other day, that was brilliant. I was wondering who on earth would sell a Kobo Touch for $10? Then I googled it and I realised the model was the first generation of touch screen ebook reader by Kobo. There's no backlight, it's laggy, but it works, so I guess the fella just got a new Kobo and just gave the old one away. The sweet old lady working in the thrift store was... well... sweet and old :p Such electronics are behind the counter, and I said "May I look at the Kobo?"
"The Kobo."
"Whas that?"
"The rectangular maroon thing on the left."
"Oh, so that's what it is! Here you go sweetheart. What is it anyway?" Awwwwww
"Oh it's an ebook reader. Only $10??"
"Well seems like it. I didn't know what it is. All you young kids and your technology, I can't catch up anymore!"
*another old lady was in line behind me*
"Is it working?"
"Seems like it, needs wifi though, but it turns on."
"Is it working?"
"Seems like it, needs wifi though, but it turns on."
"Well it's your lucky day!"
Then I bought it and all giddy and happy, and then I hear those two talking when it's the old customer lady's turn.
"Oh I didn't know what that thing was, it was just sitting there on the shelf."
"It seems like it's working perfectly!"
"People just give away things hey?"
But yeah, neither of us knew that it was a first gen device at the time. Makes sense that it was donated. Heck, the newer models are even waterproof now!
