AASQL

So the thing about my field is that, in the job application process, you do not get an interview first.

No, no, no. My field is too technical for that. So what they do is that they send you a test, and then you gotta do it and send it back to them before the deadline. The issue with analytics is that every company uses different tools to do their analysis.

Good news is that I was given a test (as opposed to outright rejecting me from the application process). The bad news is that I have 72 hours to learn a new data management language so that I could actually do the test.

As you can guess it, the language I had to learn was SQL (Standard Query Language).
Well, its not even SQL that I have to learn. It's SQLite. So its a lite version of SQL.

You might think: oh hey, if that's the case, shouldn't it be easier?

NOOOoooo. The issue with SQLite is that in return of being streamlined, lots of commands were lost. The other issue is that there are way more SQL resources online than there are SQLite. The other other issue is that all of SQLite's commands can be used in SQL, but not the other way round, which makes looking up codes online all the more annoying. SQL allows more deep, technical manipulation, which SQLite doesn't allow.

Well, because of this test, I spent my entire weekend eating out and neglecting on everything else. My French, my Swedish, my German, my violin, my PACKING, oh GAWSH SO MUCH TO PACK. But now that that's over, phew! Back to literally everything else!

I've decided to go meet up with my friend who's also permanently leaving tomorrow. Man, after seeing her stuff, I feel more at ease now. She has so much stuff, and her flight is in 12 hours, and she still have half of the room left to pack.

Other than that... well... that's about it... Trying to sell my stuff, still hoping to get a job. >.<
