AAD

This is one of the interim ones. Work has been... well... work. I come home tired and just wants to relax and sleep, and repeat.

Did a few things though, so this post will be a short one, maybe till the weekend, when I have plans.

After complaining about my lack of knitting skills, my friend invited me to her place to teach me how to knit. I was very wary at first because their house has a cat (the very same cat) and according to cartoons, they love messing up yarn balls.

I showed her the guide I use, which is this:

She took a quick look and just went: "THIS IS TOO DIFFICULT! Let me teach you a simpler method!"

This is a horrible drawing and should not be use as a guide.
That being said, I'm sure people who knits know what type of cast on is this.
So now, I actually have progress with my knitting!

Somewhere around the evening, a friend brought their cat over to play with their cat while we talk. What happened was that it became a very tense night, as those 2 cats didn't play nice at all. They were hissing and kinda clawing at each other of sorts.

It was a stand off for the entire 2 hours.
I told my roommate (the cat master, as she has 6 cats back in Malaysia) about it. Turns out 2 male cats cannot play nice when they're at one of the other's territory. Also, one of them isn't spaded yet, so that makes it worse. The more you know!

Other thing is that my laptop's battery finally went KO. Took me a whole morning to remove it because some screws were stuck. It's been 5 years, and I've been gaming on it hard, so I guess its bound to happen. Now with the battery removed, the laptop feels lighter, and there's less heat where the battery used to be now, so that's nice. The bad is that now it needs to be connected to the plug always, but hey, that's just like a desktop now isn't it?

The battery was expanding, as you can see from the shiny curvature.
I googled, apparently it's due to faulty batteries releasing some poisonous gas or something.
The shiny thing was made just in case these things happen.
You're not supposed to throw this in the garbage, instead you have to bring the battery to some place that handles this professionally.

  Here's some other junk:

This is like my... 8th...9th try? It's been almost a year since my first attempt, and I've been constantly failing, but slowly I'm improving!

Cinna the poet literally appear for just 3 pages before dying. Glad to see him immortalized.

Did you know that Mt. Everest is basically covered in corpses?
Picture maybe related.
