AAG

Oof, if my previous post made me sound cranky and all, that's probably because I was.

Now, I finally got my life back into rhythm. My sleep, my diet, my exercises, and I'm feeling so much better now. Well... at least emotionally. I'm no longer a cranky boi like I was for the past few weeks. However, those few weeks of bodily neglect means that I fell sick and was basically bedridden for the entire weekend. So yeah, felt good, but also bad, at the same time.

But its fine because its easier to get rid of physical sickness (drink lots of water and sleep a lot). Also lucky me, for I fell sick during my off days! ^^ (Slept for 11 hours that night)

The weather is also getting better! It's been pretty sunny lately. In fact, I'm currently writing up this blog in Rocket's Bakery, downtown! Still reading American Gods. I have extended its borrowing length 3 times already. It takes me almost an hour to finish reading a chapter. I don't know if I am suddenly such a slow reader or just the style of this book makes it longer for me to read (its also a pretty long book).
So I had another wave of job applications. One of the jobs I applied to REQUIRES us to fill one of those personality assessment things. I've always enjoyed all these kind of quizzes, they're just fun little things yeh? Here's my assessment. Is it accurate? You decide!

Our Game of Thrones HBO account holder moved out of the house last week, so I guess I'm not catching up with GoT no more. But according to the internet, it seems episode 4 was a shitshow. They felt like these past 8 seasons happen and then something bad happened or something, I dunno, I'm not even a huge fan (I joined the party too late), I just watch it when its up.

While working on my duolingo, this thing showed up. I immediately went and looked back on my older posts; when I first tried out baking and failed horribly at it. Man... those were some soul-crushing days. Now, I am having so much fun baking. I don't even eat most of the things I bake (I mean do, I just have like less than 4 pieces), and I just give it to other people. These is my priority list:
  1. My roommates
  2. My neighbour
  3. My board game/TTRPG group
  4. My colleagues
  5. My friends who live nearby but not near enough
My roommates are goddamn gluttons. I would not have ranked them as #1 but they would just exit their rooms and gobble up half of everything I baked (and I bake like 20+ pieces each). It doesn't bother me that much since I was gonna give them out anyway, I just feel bad to the priority list because with very VERY limited pastries left, I have to decide how many I need to share with others. #4 and #5 most of the time got 0 and doesn't even know I bake, all they ever hear about is:|

*related conversation happened*
Jerry: Oh hey guys, I bake too.
Friends/colleagues: Oh really? Well then share some to us then.
Jerry: Yeah I will, if my roommates don't finish them up first. Haha.
Friends/colleagues: Haha.

I just think they don't believe a super macho manly man like me bakes >:)

Oatmeal chocochip cookies!
No milk or eggs used!
Could be vegan if I replaced butter with margarine.
The issue is that then I'll be using margarine.
Well, I have nothing else to say. I guess I borrowed a violin from the library, so I am hoping to learn the basics in 30 days (that's the length that I'm allowed to borrow). After that, I'm maybe planning to pick up the harmonica? I dunno. It looks small and easy.

Also, while I was surfing the web, I found this article. It's a pretty good read. Table for one: how eating alone is radically changing our diets.

Sounds about right.

Sounds about right 2.

Sounds about right 3.

Oof.

What an answer....
