Down with the Sickness

OOH-WA-AH-AH-AH

Currently sick. Sore throat, headache, constantly tired, all that jazzz. My phlegm was black as souls.

I have a few reason why I think I got sick.

1. The weather changes too quickly

The weather here went from sunny to rainy, to cloudy, and dances around 8 degrees to 20 degrees in the span of 2 weeks. I don't know why, but I feel like when this happen, I always fall sick. Look, I know people complain about the lack of sun, but I'd rather have 2 weeks of consistent rain. I don't have to constantly see what clothes I have to wear then.

2. Overworking

Recently, I've been working a lot. Not just in my job, but also in my "part-time job", ie: job hunting. I finish work, and then I pop out my laptop and type cover letters and go search for jobs and all. Also pepper in some room hunting and what not.

3. The anxiety that is job hunting

There are some companies which after applying, allows you to track your application. The problem arises when I've applied to some job for a month now, and the tracker is still on the "received" or "new" section. That thing really stresses me out. There's getting rejected, and there's "getting rejected" because they didn't even bothered your application.

1+2+3=6?. All of these combine really

I've been waking up at 3am-ish in the middle of my sleep for the past few days. Lack of quality sleep is definitely part of it. Not only that, due to the lack of time in my part, I can't seem to find the time to go do groceries, which means it's been a while since I've eaten fresh fruits and veggies. My roommate, who prefers to cook vegan, made a salad yesterday and she hated it, so guess who offered to finish it :p

Right now, I feel like I'm too weak to go out to do groceries even though I have some free time. And also, I hate the weekends now. Weekends are the time when the job recruiters will not do any of their jobs (because it's the weekend!), so I felt like I will be left hanging throughout the weekend.

Can't believe I look forward to Mondays eh?

The good news is that I'll probably get better, so that's nice too!
