I think I have laryngitis

Nothing serious. Diseases always have such scary names but upon checking, laryngitis is kind of like a DLC to the common cold. Not a DLC I want but it's what I get.

Basically I have all the symptoms of the common cold + I now have puberty voice. My voice is constantly breaking and it sounds horrible. Worse part is at work, where I have to talk. This isn't a big enough of an issue to call in sick (unless I use the term laryngitis, then they'll go "oh no" and probably not knowing what it is).

It's super embarrassing to talk now. Yesterday I decided to get my watch battery changed (cause it ran out, duh), and the conversation with the watch shop guy, agh. Well, "conversation". I did my best to keep speeches to minimum, but still my voice cracks constantly.

Not only that, a colleague gave me a ride home yesterday. And it's common to play the radio or some music in the car while driving (cough cough dad cough cough), so I think Queen came on and me and my dude started karaoke-ing in the car. My singing voice is already shit, but my singing voice + cracked voice = some cringe videos you watch online. He even commented: "wow, nice singing voice". Sarcastically of course.

To be fair, I have not been properly taking care of my throat either. My roommate's friend came to visit him over the weekend, and we all went out and had fun. I did my best in terms of not having fried food and what not, but I did talk a lot and laughed out loud, so my throat didn't actually rest rest. Then I had siphon coffee. Siphon coffee's texture is like water man, it's so smoooooth. But apparently you're not suppose to have coffee (and alcohol) during laryngitis because diuretics and moisture in the throat of sorts.

It's been almost a week. Get well soon me! Here's some pictures from the trip.
